Lucas slammed his fists on the counter, glaring at Roane, "AND YOU NEVER CHASE HIM AWAY?! LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, ROANE!"

The man happened to know that Roane actually saw Chase on the day he bought the unit next to Lia's. And he was even more furious when he found out that the man had actually walked Lia and Chelsea to school in the morning.

Roane sighed, eyeing Lia, who was a distance away from them, serving the customers. "Lucas, we should let Lia decide that herself."

"Decide about what?!" Lucas snapped. "There is nothing for her to decide, since that guy has nothing to do with her and Chelsea at all!"
