"Hey!" Chase greeted her, with his dimples deeply plastered on both sides of his cheeks.

"Hi." That was all she could say. After all, it was hard to be angry with a smiling person. A handsome one, in fact.

"What are you doing?" The man asked, his eyes on the laptop screen.

"I am looking for a part-time job, obviously." Lia replied, turning her attention back to her job hunting.

"You looked so engrossed. Are you solving some world-class math quiz?" Chase chuckled as he sat down next to Lia in the living room of their apartment.

"And what are you doing here?" Lia asked stupidly.

"Well, aside from the fact that this is my apartment as well, I thought I said before that you are never alone because you have me, right? So here I am..." The man replied.
