'It's a wonder how quickly time flies when you have things to bother about,' Eve thought. 'I hope that after today things will finally be calm.'

She, Celina, Xia, and Victor stood together in the crowd of people who gathered today on the Radiant Base's main square to hear about the impeachment—and the elections that were going to follow right after—of the Chief.

The place was packed to the brim. Eve was sure that almost everyone who lived on the base came there today. The date of the impeachment was publically announced five days earlier, less than a week after Hailett's public argument with Victor. People had all the time to prepare everything they wanted to.
