Chapter 134: The four words

Celina and Xia's return was hard to miss. Not every day a motorcade of three vehicles at once had arrived to Radiant's Base gates. More importantly, this particular motorcade had been awaited for a while.

Victor had ordered to report to him as soon as they will be seen approaching, and thanks to that, when the cars drove to the gates, Victor, Eve and Kang were already there to greet everyone even before they could register at the entry checkpoint.

Celina was the first one to roll out of the car. She ran towards Eve with outstretched hands and a face-splitting grin on her face, but when Eve opened her own arms wide for what she thought was a greeting hug, Celina stopped in her tracks.

In the next moment, she dropped to her knees just a meter away from Eve. "Oh, finally! Home, sweet home, civilisation and civilised people!" she exclaimed and then and kissed the dusty asphalt, only to sputter the next instant and begin to wipe her mouth with a sleeve.
