I’m an international, multiple award-winning author with a passion for the voices in my head. As a singer, songwriter, independent filmmaker and improv teacher and performer, my life has always been about creating and sharing what I create with others. Now that my dream to write for a living is a reality, with over a hundred titles in happy publication and no end in sight, I live in beautiful Prince Edward Island, Canada, with my giant cats, pug overlord and overlady and my Gypsy Vanner gelding, Fynn.

He holds the door open for me.
“See you, then,” he says.
I hate him so much in that moment, my stomach heaves, tightens into a giant knot. The only thing saving me is the wide open door and the freedom beyond it. From Dad, from my memories.

But the lure of the New York theater scene, her only other passion, draws her into the world of acting and stardom. Making friends—and an enemy bound to see her fail—Riley struggles to come to terms with loss, new love and her past under the floodlights of the stage.
