After the messenger left, Liam looked at his followers, and without caring about their worries or fears, he said,

"Send the soldiers to all the villages in the Barony, organize some patrols around the perimeter of the Blackbirch Forest, and maintain a state of maximum alert."

Upon hearing his orders, all of his followers felt confused and even stunned.

They didn't understand why he was deploying soldiers if he wasn't going to follow the Count's orders.

Although they had many questions, most of them didn't dare to ask about his true intentions.

"My lord, what should we do if we see or encounter the soldiers of the Eronthar Kingdom?"

His question attracted everyone's attention, especially the soldiers, as they were the ones most concerned.
