Chapter 74: Chase After You

Unlike Nessa, Damon was excited to be in school - that was the only excuse he could use to see Red. After that chat, he hoped she was less mad at him and he was eager to taste the waters. He wanted to make peace with her, especially now that the crazy girl, Naomi, was back.

"You're not going to see her?" Carlos pestered him as he stepped into the hallway, searching for a certain red-haired lady. 

"You're really not going to see her?" 

Damon turned to glare at him, "I'm not going to see her. Why should I see her?" 

"I don't know, but you two obviously have a lot to talk about," his friend pointed out. 

"Well…" Damon adjusted his backpack, "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not ready to get raped," There was bitterness in his tone.
