Chapter 126: Dance With Damon

At first, Damon thought Nessa was vexing Odele on purpose due to jealousy, but he came to understand it wasn't just jealousy anymore, but her pride. 

Damon had pretended to be oblivious to the internal battle going on between both women, after all, this was common. However, Odele overstepped her boundary and it was time to stop her.

He felt her anger through the bond when Odele stepped on her pride and he knew how much pride matters to Nessa. Not only did Odele dare to flirt with him in front of her but also treated her like an insignificant being.

Damon knew how much these over-pampered socialites tend to look down on ordinary people. But then, Nessa was not an ordinary person, by the reason of being his girlfriend, her status was elevated already. He would have interfered, but this was Nessa's battle and all he could do was to help her.
