"No!" Damon shouted, gripping the phone in his hand so tight that he didn't care crushing it to pieces. What was he going to do? 

He couldn't breathe. Damon felt suffocated inside. He was numb to all feelings except anxiety. He hoped, no, he prayed inwardly to every supreme being he knew; God, Allah, Buddha, you name it; that she was okay. If a single hair on her head gets missing, he would send whoever that did it to the deepest part of hell. 

Suddenly, Damon gasped as a sharp pain shot through his heart. His heart was throbbing so strongly that he thought he could die anytime soon from the pain. 

"Damon!" shouted Carlos who was back from chasing after Aimee. He came to his aid by helping him stand upright.
