Chapter 92: He Doesn't Like Her

Nessa groaned, burying her face further into the pillow as a knock sounded on her door. She needed not guess, her mother was here to drag her ass downstairs. 

But then, she was so tired she couldn't lift a finger. Rita Claire drained all the energy she had left. Nessa underestimated that old woman, she was as energetic as a three-year-old. They had gone from shopping to a beauty salon where they did her hair, manicures, and pedicures. 

Nessa couldn't help but wonder if Rita Claire had any friends at all. It almost seemed as if she was filling the role of a daughter-in-law and a friend as well. Looks like she might have to find some friends for the woman. She can't endure any more of her enthusiastic shopping. 

"Young lady, maybe you ought to be kind by helping your mom out in the kitchen " Jenny lectured as Nessa groaned further into the pillow.
