Chapter 140: One Has To Die

Damon wasn't given breathing space and was attacked from both sides. But that was the least of his problems- he was more concerned about Aimee who was being cornered by Christopher's men. However, she released a piercing scream that sent chills to everyone.

As if dazed, everyone stopped whatever they were doing at least for that moment. All of their attention was on Aimee with a little bit of confusion in between. 

When Damon finally looked up, the sight was gory. Aimee was on the floor screaming, with tears running down her face. She was in pain as she clutched her stomach, blood slipping down her legs. 

He gasped, "The baby."

As if the assholes suddenly gained an ounce of humanity, they let Damon run to her aid. 

"Da-Damon," She stuttered helplessly, "My baby. I think something's wrong with my baby."
