Chapter 77: Realm Of The Dead

Darkness surrounded him. Where was he? Or rather, what is this place? Wait a minute, was he dead? No way, Damon refused. This couldn't be the afterlife? The Afterlife, wasn't it supposed to be paradise? This place was somber. Perhaps, was he in hell?!! 

Then suddenly, an outline of a person formed out of the darkness with a halo. The shape grew nearer and nearer to him until Damon could make out his feature.

"Mark?" He was dumbfounded. No way, this was impossible. But then, this place was impossible as well. 

"What are you doing...." he stuttered, refusing to believe that this was his brother. But then, reality set in, "No wait," He thought hard, " ....you're dead...so if I'm here...Am I dead?" he asked no one in particular. 

"You're not dead" came Mark's reply but that wasn't convincing to Damon.
