"I won't allow you, Princess. What you are planning is dangerous!" Jacob opposed.

"Dad!" Hailee frowned, disappointment displayed in her eyes as she looked at her dad.

"Your dad is right, Hail."

Vincent does not wish for Hailee to hate her father. He does not want the father and daughter to have a rift in their relationship because of him. He has high regard for Jacob.

Jacob sighs with relief when Vincent sides him. Finally, they agree on the same thing: to stop Hailee and ensure her safety at all costs.
