"Don't f**king kidding me, Matt." 

He was in disbelief, refusing to accept the truth. However, the other line fell into silence. Soon, a faint sob reached his ears. 

Vincent was speechless when Matthew began crying, which was the confirmation he was waiting to hear. 

In their circle, Matt is one of the younger men who looks up to Shun and thinks of him as their big brother. 

Realizing what causes Hailee's breakdown, Vincent throws his phone to the table and tightens his embrace around her body. 

"Hush, now, darling." 

He didn't know what words could comfort her. All he knows is that Hailee's great respect for Shun, and she loves him with all her heart. 

"Love, tell me it's all a lie, please…"
