"Hailee? Are you there?"
Outside the washroom, Hilda knocked on the door. She breathes a sigh of relief when her daughter-in-law opens the door.
"Hello, mom Hilda."
"Vincent told me. He noticed you were not feeling well. Are you okay?" she queried Hailee with worry written all over her face.
Hailee nodded and smiled. She replied, "I'm fine, mom. Don't worry. I'm just exhausted from this passing week of preparation for the quadruplet's birthday celebration. Then, I sorted out mine and Vincent's schedule for the entire month and appointed a competitive employee to handle our other projects."
"I see. Then enjoy your and Vincent's time together. Everyone was staying for the holidays, then the kids could spend more time with their cousins and friends."
"That is wonderful, mom," said Hailee with a grateful heart. She hugged her thoughtful mother-in-law and led her outside after that.
