"Thank you, Hazel." Hailee gave the woman a warm hug; she was grateful to have such a friend. She had no siblings and longed to have little sisters why she became attached to the young girls she met when she hid in Metro City.
Hailee walked toward Vincent and hugged him from behind, burying her face in his broad back.
"I'm so happy," she mumbled.
Vincent squeezed his wife's hand as he turned around slowly; he brought her into his arms, hugged Hailee tight, and placed tiny kisses on her forehead.
"I love you, and it delighted me to see you happy."
"Hmm... I miss the kids, but I'm happy I could have alone time with you."
"I love to spend more time with the kids. However, at this moment, I want to please my empress." Vincent brushed his lips into Hailee's ear.
She was thrilled that her husband remained romantic, and she was indeed missing those times when she and Vincent were inseparable, as they still had no kids by then.
