"Better than discovering my body on the news the next day," Keira hissed back irritably. "Seriously, he could have been a serial killer!"
Adrian smirked and walked around Keira nonchalantly, continuing down the stairs that led to an alley. "He could have been," he replied, his tone light and humorous. "Didn't stop you from dry-humping him, though, huh?"
Heat coloured her cheeks red, and she leaned close to him at the bottom of the stairs, hissing, "I did not dry hump him!"
Liar.
"It's okay." Adrian winked. "I got some of the same treatment. It was nice."
Keira's mouth dropped open. "Oh, you… You…"
"Where are your friends?" Adrian changed the subject even though his eyes twinkled in amusement.
Keira released a breath, deciding to follow his change in the subject instead of trying and failing to get a real answer out of Adrian Sinclair.
