After that, they fell into a tense silence. They were all full of adrenaline, their gazes focused on what they had to do next. The lorry slowed, and Dylan checked one of the small holes and nodded. Moments later, the four of them hopped out of the lorry one after the other, leaving one of the doors to swing from side to side.
Ahren was first to run to the side into the forest, followed by the others. Shifting into their wolf forms, they sprinted like their lives depended on it. Once they were in another town, they shifted back into their human forms, grateful for only one thing the Order gave them- the uniform that didn't rip, keeping their bodies concealed. It was blissful.
The problem was that the uniform stood out, and the Order could locate them more quickly. Keira didn't doubt they had access to street CCTV. It had been at least 30 minutes to an hour since their escape. If they didn't notice their absence already, they would soon.
