Chapter 21: chapter 21: Lost grasp!

The bright moon shone on the legatees of smoke as they took to the stances which they found their comfort and confidence in as Jacob watched the wind grace the southern American flowers surrounding the brothers. Jacob appreciated the flowers before asking his brother a question with his monotone. "Show me that your trip away from the family was worth it, Amell." Said the Patriarch of the Wiley family. Amell scratched his chin before caressing his beard. "I've been hoping it will be!" Amell responded in a nervous tone. Jacob threw himself towards his younger brother with a stony-hearted expression as Amell conjured smoke at his feet that he slipped into in the Knick of time as his brother's fist just missed his face. Amell dropped from his first wide cloud of smoke onto another cloud of haze that he called twenty feet above his brother. He crouched near the edge and saw him looking up. "Alright, listen, just— never mind, you take this one, Jay." Amell shouted down as he stared at him. Jacob's stony-hearted expression freaked out the Wayfaring Wiley. "You're holding back. Prepare yourself, Mell, I'm coming up!" Jacob had warned his younger brother before he got into position to make a great leap upwards. Amell gulped before he decided on a plan. He waited until Jacob was airborne then erased the platform of smoke that he stood on and swiftly conjured a wall of smoke that plunged in front of him both heading towards the stony-hearted Wiley. Jacob passed through his brother's wall of smoke. Philip's stony-hearted son fell to the ground as he realized that he passed through his younger brother. Gregorius has his hired prized chefs bring him a bucket of fried chicken. "I would have never taken either of you to appreciate the fine gift of the violin." Said the island's owner before a chuckle. Amell scratched his nose before grinning. "Folks would never take you for a fan of either at first glance." He replied as maintained his  grin. Gregorius shrugged and nodded. The Wayfaring Wiley, the youthful Wiley and the greatest Detective of South Carolina's son traveled through the floating island's forest. Gregorius brushed his lengthy imperial styled beard as made meditative sounds. "The island's tune domain is simply through the south of my forest, I think you guys will absolutely love the auditorium." He finished with an obviously enthusiastic tone. Amell rested his chin on his chest after a light sigh. "Showing visitors his auditorium arouses the dwarven accompanist, kids." Amell whispered to the youthful duo. Gregorius's face evinces confusion on his face. "Five-foot-five inches is not dwarven height and it doesn't arouse me but the architect and decorator was my son, you know that I can't help but have pride in him." Gregorius refuted and corrected as his confusion remained on his face. Derek collected countless questions and his thirst for answers was filling up. "Gr— Gregorius, sir?" Derek blurted out abruptly as Alec and Amell were enjoying a joke, Gregorius gave the curious lad his attention, "This floating island isn't in the sky because of your lemon chiffon, right?!" The youthful Wiley asked with curiosity expressed. Gregorius glanced towards Amell whom he saw nodding his way, Gregorius sat on the question for a moment before answering. "Yes— but also, not on raw power alone, through my passion for entertainment and obedience from the wiser." Gregorius answered with a brief smile. Derek nodded as he was listening. "Training and inheriting an island— or?" He asked as he listened closely. Gregorius lightly sighed. "Yes. We're not a part of your heroic oath but my family has sworn epic loyalty to the families that's an old and lengthy tale. However, I don't feel like regaling it right now so visit me some other time and I'll tell you about it." Gregorius replied. Amell held his elbow as he used that arm's hand to rub his chin before a light bulb lit up. "Give him the story about when that fire you have burning hotter than oxygen fed flames inside was ignited." Amell blurted out. Gregorius's face grew more enthusiastic as he was recollecting the memory. "It's an excellent and interesting tale in Amell's opinion. As I was learning to imbue a cup with my lemon chiffon essence and sweating as I was practicing levitating it when I was a boy, an uncle much like the guy that smells like a cigarette next to you, came into the palace's four-walled training space. He gave me some food to refuel and watched before sitting me down. He told me that I struggled as much as I did because my novice stance was far from correct. My father wasn't the— greatest teacher to be charitable. He was a very busy man as he ran the business and kept our home afloat. My mother focused on the other duties that she had and had no time to spare for me, so my uncle taught me plenty about control even though he lacked any care about inheriting the business or training personally, he gave me everything that he gathered from my father's training, I was taught even more by my aunts, who was in the same boat as my uncle. They told me that my father was disappointed in me, it made me work twenty times harder. What do you think about the story?" Gregorius regaled then asked the youthful Wiley. Derek reviewed the story in his head as they continued through the forest's path to the musician's district. Alec scrutinized the story in his thoughts as he turned his gaze. "Have your father and uncle told you that they're proud at some point?" The Williams' child wondered aloud. Gregorius broke into hysterical laughter and snorting that was contagious to Amell. "My uncle, indeed, my father, he isn't that kind of man but definitely not anymore. I transformed his favorite room into my favorite bathroom." The entertainment in the sky's inheritor confessed. Alec then began contagious laughter. "Sweeeeet." He finished. Gregorius wiped his nose and sniffled before turning towards Derek. "Based on that glee that can be heard in his voice when he mentioned his children earlier. Amell has a ton to teach the both of you, listen well to the wise's guidance and before you realize it, you'll have your own something that demonstrates your hard work like this island." Gregorius advised the youthful Wiley.
