A hooded man wearing indigo and white ambles down a hall tasked with bringing a fresh batch of go juice to a room of catastrophe witnesses and hands out four cups to the council of the founder's advisers who were meeting up for an imperative discussion held in secret. He breathed in the aroma preceding entering the discussion. "None for me, auxiliary figure?" Said a man who calls himself an illusionist with an upset tone. The hooded man, Mlungisi turns his gaze back towards the illusionist and briefly smiles as the illusionist responds with a nervous countenance. "Our machine is currently broken so I had to order and yet you declined." Mlungisi responded with his usual monotone voice. The Irish illusionist had nothing else to say after he realized that he was right yet he still gave him a side eye. "Where's that tardy momma of yours?" Said another woman with the sight to see into the future overwhelmed with frustration and boredom. "I sincerely apologize but kindly ask for all of your patience, as the greatest seer among you despite her age, achieving absurd accuracy as she does comes with a severe and taxing mental cost. She'll arrive soon." Said the hooded man, Mlungisi, before he sat in and warmed her chair. The room was filled with awkward silence for five more minutes, though before the first impatient guest and member of the absent woman's council could leave, the woman of the hour herself walked her way to the council's table and excused her son out of her chair. The guest who was on their way out realized what they've all gathered for eventually by their leader's facial expression. "Our Grand catastrophe seer, finally, you've made it!" Said the impatient illusionist as he wrapped his arms around himself. The seer sighed and rubbed her temples gently. "Simply greet me as Lisha. And so, you're finally on board with our goals, sir?" Miss Lisha asked as she squinted the relaxed illusionist's direction. He sat up in his chair and looked away. "Can you assure me that the world is most certainly doomed unless we do this your way?" The illusionist asked with a serious tone as he stared the seer in her eyes. Miss Lisha hated the answer to that question she knew she had to give him. "I've worked alongside the best and most promising seers in the world to be able to confidently assure you this, humanity is doomed and we become toys for Enotocin when he returns from the imprisonment layer. The young man's mind is too strong for him to transfer his consciousness and the only eligible few have been killed for a couple of months now." Miss Lisha assures her comrade. "I don't know— I've never used my authority this way, haven't ever considered it. I'm no saint but I've only ever applied it to save lives especially during evacuations for my family but definitely not to ruin one, so how strong is the lil dude by now?" The chill illusionist wondered as he began making up his mind. Miss Lisha looked at her fellow next in command Alan Zabba with certainty. "I'm orchestrating a few plots but it won't be necessary to break him, only give everyone a show." Miss Lisha nodded as she had shown a determined look. The illusionist had an expression as though he were guilty of a crime even though he was innocent at the moment. "H— how do we nab the kid while he's with everyone else?" The lengthy haired illusionist asked the seer. "You keep calling him kid when you're only five years older than him?" Alan Zabba wondered as the illusionist noticed that it was bothering Miss Lisha's fellow seer for some reason. The illusionist reached into the vault of memories. "When I was young and tried my hardest to earn the public's favor even disagreeing with my dad, seeing how great he got along with my lil bro was the highlight of my day. I've always considered him an honorary member of the family. He's like my little kid brother, he might have grown to where this plan of yours might be impossible but he'll always be even if he finds out and hates me for being part of this plot. I still can't deny that— Lisha's never let us down." The illusionist admitted to Alan Zabba. The jaded seer looked moved. One of the other leading seers attending the meeting informed him on their plan leaving him wondering who else was involved from the Heroics Oath Purlieu other than himself. Miss Lisha assured him that they only need him ready for a phone call when their first plan is prepared, Alan Zabba added onto her words as he nodded sitting beside her.
Reynard and Amin were sauntering outside of their base of operations within JinJunyë to go grab a few books to discuss. "In the seventeen-hundreds, a small town was seized by a gang of thieves who stumbled into a glove that granted them powers, the power of combustion, they simply had ball their fist towards someone for a second and their body would be scattered over the road the next. They recruited the entire town into their gang, forced them to do their bidding or they'd be next. Oppressed and punished them. Committed heinous crimes whenever they pleased. Obviously this was a hero's story, a young man stood up to them after finding out that he was capable of something the others were not, he could withstand their wrath, almost impervious. He pushed through their barrage in the final confrontation filled with an unbending sense of Justice and freed his home from the injustice. He's the founder of the promise that we've joined. He saw that others obtained their own incredible abilities like his own longevity and decided that he wasn't finished dealing with evil after that, formed an agreement and alliance with others who'd become patriarchs of legacies he had also sworn to defend and protect even with his own life!" Amin regaled with enthusiasm and noticeable excitement in his voice. Anthony walked next to his pal with his arms crossed but hand on his chin soaking up the story. "Really? Like the classic fictional longevity of life?!" Anthony asked with a skeptical tone. Amin chuckled. "I don't know what's so hard to believe when you were trained by a woman who could manipulate dozens of swords, fought a guy with me that could shape clouds of smoke and remained friends with the son of a hero with dozens stacked on dozens of stories that are far more unbelievable though?" Amin shrugged with his eyes closed and perplexed how the story he relayed was more shocking rather than exciting to his friend. "None of that is as questionable as being hundreds of years old, dude, Derek's obviously kidding with that story and that's enough proof." Anthony replied slightly chuckled afterward. Reynard squinted as he felt as though something was crawling on his skin. "That's quite peculiar." The friends heard from a disembodied voice as they surveyed their surroundings yet nobody could be found. Reynard squared up with Amin following his lead after he pulled his father's shrunken discovery out of his pocket and tossed it, miraculously growing back to fifteen feet in unbelievable timing and as soon as it was on its feet, the lost ruin sentinel mimicked his stance. "Oh wow, wow, oh, wow, your abilities are wild!" Said the mysterious fellow that continued to evade their sight as they positioned themselves back to back. "C'mon! Introductions?" Amin responded in an unexpectedly friendly manner to the disembodied voice. The JinJunyë defenders witnessed a fellow around their age appear out from seemingly thin air and looked nothing like they were expecting. Reynard's slightly excited grin disappeared as he appeared. He had his hands in his baggy pants with a spaced out expression on his face, giving a feeling that put Reynard in unease. "I'm Wilel, eldest son of the Williams, defenders of the woodlands, in Texas?" Wilel held out his hand for a formal shake. Reynard and Amin refused to shake. "Long way from home then aren't you?" Reynard asked Wilel with an unbending glare. "Rey—!" Amin was interrupted by Wilel's loud mischievous laughter giving him the sense to slowly inch away. "First of all, the Jono established in JinJunyë really couldn't bother committing to research. I'm here to formally invite you fellas in person as a safety precaution to our Quinquennial tradition aimed at celebrating and strengthening our bond and trust. It'd be awful rude and offensive not to show up, not to mention seeing as how you're new to our oath and alliance seeking justice." Wilel informed the JinJunyë duo before they had looked at each other, by the look on Reynard's face, Amin nodded. "We'll be there." Reynard turned his gaze back towards the Wilel which brought a smile to his face as he pressed his hands together. "Before I hand you this info card and take off, care to have a conversation while we spar a bit?" Wilel asked with the brightest on his face. "He looks like a clown who needs humbling." Reynard thought to himself. The heroic ex-officer of JinJunyë rubbed his rib before stretching and showed off his grin. Wilel began approaching the two. "What's the words of the oath you've sworn last year after you've liberated the world of the evil of Enotocen?" Wilel asked as he put on the hood of his hoodie. "Don't care to recall, though, I've still got the gist!" Reynard began in a calmer tone until he went on the offensive. Wilel's guard was rocked with each block from Reynard's boxing until he got the wind knocked out of him after he failed to see a shot to his gut incoming and was brought down to his knees. "He still isn't patriarch worthy. Right arm's the catalyst." Wilel shouted in his thoughts while throwing his right arm behind palm open, having a tough time breathing. While on one knee and feeling vexed, Wilel decided that he'd return the favor by forcing Reynard's sense of balance and eyesight to diminish. The defender of JinJunyë's sight went indescribably blurry which caused panic until he took a step and crashed to the ground towards his right. "What sort of—?!" Amin asked aloud before Wilel turned his irritated gaze his way and gave him his attention. "I can disturb various senses, in opposition to my annoying cousin, who won't be at the celebration but he's developed his essence to give him the authority to enhance his various senses to a supernatural degree if he wishes." Wilel explained after giving Reynard back his sight but he struggled to remain on both of his feet. The expression on the former officer's face gave pleasure to the eldest Williams son. "Fighting for a world that proudly pedestalize integrity, honor and enduring justice but there's none of those when it comes to lying. It's my job to investigate the would-be backstabbers, liars and the folks who aren't worthy of being part of us. I disturb the senses of other individuals but I know I can't disturb my own and everyone of them helps aid my skepticism. You weren't very honest in your report. I know that far more happened than what you four told us. Come be part of the Quinquennial celebration. You won't have the honor of being a patriarch for our cause afterwards." Wilel promised him before tossing the card on the ground and walking away. Reynard wiped off the blood he left on his lip before he began to pick himself up off the dirty ground.
