Chapter 7: Chapter 7: High Status and wealth...

"I want to make sure you all realize how appreciative I am of all your loyalty." Said the famed treasure hunter, weapons dealer and smuggler. The big men Derek fought that worked as his bodyguards stood beside him, quiet and stoic, as his own muscle for sometime longer than the brothers had worked for him.

"We're honored to be under your mentorship, sir!" Dae-shim replied with a grin on his face and adjusting his shades with pink lenses. "Yeah, to allow us to join you, what exactly are we joining you… for, if you don't mind answering?" Jun-suh asked after his brother spoke with respect. Proxtere kept it to himself since it was irrelevant but the treasure seller didn't like up and comer's face, how exhausted, lazy and immature he looked with his blonde hair but the rumors of his talent and his brother's knack for intellect piqued his interest in them to find the Brothers in New york.

"We're searching for the biggest score in ten lifetimes." Proxtere answered Jun-suh "Let me ask you children, have you heard about the myth of the Lore Vessel before?" Proxtere asked in a tone that terrified Dae-shim but not Jun-suh but they both nodded.

"I thought so." Proxtere commented with no disappointment but excitement to tell the story "As you are made aware now, treasures are the most profitable items in the world but are strictly for the secretive criminal and heroic worlds. You aspire to make a name for yourselves, I aspire to elevate my name in the world and this is the way to do it. The Lore Vessel was a person that was born a long, long, long, long time ago. They were an historian and philosopher, they created martial art techniques utilizing energy certain individuals are capable of using naturally from birth but what they're most known for is being a myth and the origin of about 70 percent of the world's versatile treasures that we hunt and sell. They stacked tons of them in their treasure repositories, they stacked these places with knowledge and indexes filled with secrets. He loved mysteries and giving others puzzles to solve, we're going to solve one. The powers of the world that stand on top, that could stop us if we were found out, have managed to keep the story hidden as mythology by roughly 90% of the world, enough to keep order and the mass public safe from each other, but they can't stop every individual from finding out and seeking them such as us." Proxtere educated and warned the pair under his tutelage alongside his bodyguards. Dae-shim's and Jun-suh's mouths were wide open with disbelief over everything they were told, they hadn't cared for the myths but they had family back home that loved it.

"How profitable?" Jun-suh asked in a smug tone.

"This is why I'm known as the smart one, he said for ten lifetimes, Jun!" Dae-shim answered his little brother "The better question is who are these powers that are coming after us, however?!" Dae-shim asked with slight hesitation and nervousness in his tone. The man known as Proxtere chuckled at that question as he told them to notice the bones on the table in front of them. "Indeed the smart one, indeed." Proxtere replied to his question. A slight grin then appeared on Dae-shim's but a smile is usually always present on his, not his brother's face.

"The different governments around the world with their various agencies have powerful divisions that hunt treasure collectors and seeker like us but with these powerful treasures in front of you, if any show up while we're here, as the rumors around could be false and these ancient scrolls I was given could be translated incorrectly, you'll still be able to defend yourselves properly against them as we're searching around the world for the repository." Proxtere informed the brothers.

The Brothers picked up the gigantic hip bones Proxtere took from his own private collection to give the pair to them while in service to him, a few seconds after holding them their hands and arms felt strange, felt numb, felt uncomfortable before they both dropped the bones to the floor.

"I'm interested in seeing how long it'd take for you two to figure out how to control and weaponize these hip bones of a couple of ancient shapeshifters." Proxtere informed them before he left to take care of other matters of his in the other room. Jun-suh assumed it was human, he threw it down out of disgust but couldn't pick it up anyway from the effects it had on them. Dae-shim struggled to pick his bone up as well but squatted near it and observed it as he thought about what they needed to do in order to use them. He was far less disgusted than his brother by the thought of them belonging to humans.

"Sorry I'm late for the meeting, boss." Said another mercenary known as Kayson infinite Lawless as arrived very late "Come on in. I'll still fill you in." Proxtere told him as he welcomed and gestured him inside.

Much later, the sun was already set on the other side of the world for the moon to have a turn to shine down on the young hero's adopted home of Chaelb. Liam Belgsom, the kid our young hero met and made a promise to, looked out his window feeling disappointed in the youthful night. He wondered where Derek was at, the young hero not only promised to hang out with him but help with their school project.

"Jun-suh, I think I've figured it out." Dae-shim excitedly claimed to his brother as he was shadow boxing nearby but he walked over to his brother as soon as he heard the tone he always makes when he's figured something out "Grip the bone with everything that you've got, clear your mind from distractions then think of something that you like then really, really want it. I was able to make it move for a split second from doing this but if this is the way, you'll make it work." Dae-shim directed Jun-suh who listened, he only required a moment before it worked and the hip bone stretched and formed into a bone Yari. Jun-suh was amazed by his Brother like always while Dae-shim struggled to form his bone into something, he only made it move like while he was testing out his ideas. Jun-suh patted his brother on his shoulder comfortingly while they squatted next to one another later on when he came back after eating and leaving Dae-shim to practice an hour later to Dae-shim continuing to struggle with his bone.
