Hi. I'm Kara Willis.

Here's what you need to know about me.

I'm eighteen. And I'm a foster child.

My parents didn't die in a car crash or a plane crash. Neither did they get burned in a house or get shot.

They straight up abandoned me.

Or like my Nana likes to say they "Went to the grocery store far away"

That's supposed to be the truth, but I still think they abandoned me.

I lived with my grandparents in Connecticut for eleven years before they both died.

Pops died first then it was just Nana and I.

Then she died.

So at eleven, I was up for adoption.

After 37 rejections if I'm not mistaken, they eventually gave up (the foster care peeps).

No one wants a moody little kid.

At the end, it was down to me and my bestie.

Of course she was adopted before me granted she was the complete opposite of me ; pretty, peppy, optimistic and a peace maker.

I find it strange that she wasn't adopted a long time ago.

She then discovers a Ghost teenager who helps her find her paranormal powers and joins her in her mission.
