As soon as they reached the door, they heard a violent vomiting sound coming from inside the room.

The servant brought the two of them into the house.

Many candles were lit in the room and the light allowed Su Ying to see clearly the man leaning weakly against the edge of the bed.

He looked about the same age as Xiao Jin, but his bone frame and body size were slightly smaller than Xiao Jin's. His face was thin, and he looked sickly. He seemed to be in terrible spirits too.

Upon hearing the movement, Wei Siyuan turned toward Su Ying and the others. When he saw that Xiao Jin had arrived, he tried to speak but started coughing violently before he could utter any sound.

The servant nearby immediately went forward to offer him the spittoon. After a while, Wei Siyuan began to vomit violently again.

Xiao Jin's expression darkened when he saw Wei Siyuan in this state.
