Mei Niang pushed the door open and only saw the fat woman lying on the floor. Su Ying was nowhere to be seen in the room.

Mei Niang slowly walked into the house and warily checked the surroundings. Just as she reached the beam where Bai Shuang was hanging from, Su Ying quickly jumped down from the beam and stabbed the tranquilizer dart into Mei Niang's body.

Mei Niang's eyes widened, and as she fell, she stared at Su Ying in shock.

Su Ying immediately turned around and cut the ropes around Bai Shuang's hands before lowering her down from the beam.

Su Ying's cold fingers felt Bai Shuang's pulse. After confirming that her pulse was still beating, she let out a deep breath of relief.
