If Karina were to say that her company is undergoing bankruptcy, Zarina would likely believe it. Karina remembered that Zarina had asked her multiple times about the unavailability of vicuña wool when she knew that Karina had a supplier years ago.

However, that supplier stopped deliveries because of Karina's manipulative ex, Tyler Lee. Tyler, the owner of a promising textile company in New York, had foolishly declared that if Karina didn't come back to him, he wouldn't supply fabrics to her company. Tyler Lee swore that EleganceEra would meet its downfall without his help.
