Synopsis
Waking up in a messy apartment with a new face, a fitter body, and a massive headache, Alex quickly realizes something is off. A quick internet search confirms his worst (or best?) fear- he’s in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
No powers. No super serum. No fancy Stark tech. Just a regular guy with a slightly above-average glow-up and a ticking clock counting down to the Battle of New York. The only thing he has is a system that rewards him for doing "Quests". How will he even do these quests without powers in the first place?
With only a year before aliens start raining from the sky, Alex has to train, scheme, and make the right connections if he wants to survive.
Because in a world of gods, monsters, and mad titans, there are infinite ways to get stronger.

i reviewed this story when it first came out, but now i wanna change a few things. first, i feel like the writing quality is really good. i feel like the author is really good at displaying emotion, and the fight scenes are really good as well. the story development is also great, it doesn't like rush straight into the mc getting god powers, but instead he's getting steadily stronger with his peers. character design though, it's immaculate. currently, Eben though there's not that much characters introduced, all of them are fleshed out amazingly. update stability could use a little work, but the author always uploads at least once every 3 days, and it should get better apparently. world background is also 🔥. 4.8 total.
Hoping for more chapters soon hopefully the story is good. Has potential in my personal opinion.
Good enough. Though a little cliche and shallow. What do I mean? It takes the easy way out, for example, he was an obese lonely dude before and suddenly he is beating flash in a fist fight. Not how that works man, fight or flight response, fear, anxiety, are real obstacles especially for a lonely nerd who was weak before. He was the little guy. There's no real weight to the writing. Just the author telling u this is how it is, accept it. No rhyme or reason.
I love this fic. The story development, though kinda slow, is straight fire, and the character development! So good.
This story definitely seems to have good potential for a good story and a good plot and the author seems to have a pretty good idea on where the story goes. He also seems to be pretty knowledgeable on marvel LORE and other things. It could work on some things like pacing as it seems a bit slow but that could be just on me. But realistically the story seems to have a good idea on where it wants to go with good potential.
just caught up and am kinda sad at the lack of chaps, as I did marinate it but yea here's me hoping for more chaps... anyway won't say much as yk it's good when am spending time adding a rev on it and ts has a LOT of potential so author bro, keep it cominggg

Good novel overall. The idea of 'totems' being a source of supernatural powers is interesting and differs greatly from other marvel fics in a good way.

Its really good, the character development and stuff is really peak, and its really fun to see the side characters grow along with Alex. It would be 5/5 if it was updated more frequently though. Loving it [img=update]
Author self-review here! the reason I started writing this fic is cause every fic I found was all the same. In all of them the MC is overpowered, gets all the girls, gets godlike powers before the MCU plotline even starts. so instead of that, I thought of making this as like a book where the MC grows with the side characters, instead of being too OP.
