I bounce awkwardly through the forest, my slimy body making a wet splurch each time. No arms, no legs, just a glowing core floating inside me.
"Seriously… I got isekai'd as a slime?"
The sunlight through the trees is calming, but my status screen isn't:

Strength: 1
Skills: None
Title: The Forgotten Descendent
Forgotten by who? I don't have time to wonder. The bushes ahead explode open—out jumps a rabbit with horns, eyes glowing red, and drool sizzling on the moss.
"You've got to be kidding me…"
It lunges. I roll aside, wobbling. One hit could kill me. Desperation takes over—my body stretches, forming a tendril.
Smack!
The horned rabbit staggers. A blue screen flashes:
[Basic Skill Acquired: Slime Whip]
I hit it again, harder this time. The creature crashes into a tree and goes still. My body quivers with relief. I actually survived.
But before I can rest, the sky rips open with light. Runes spin in the air, forming a glowing circle.
From it steps a human, clad in holy radiance, sword gleaming.
"Behold, the Hero who will save this world!" a voice booms.
The Hero's eyes lock onto mine. Calm. Confident. Almost… smiling.
And in that instant, I know: this person is my enemy.
