Joaquin Z. Alder was born into this world, a being known as a zero. They start off with no mana or power whatsoever, and when their fated day comes they erupt into unstoppable forces conquest and mass destruction.

For reasons unknown to the common folk Joaquin is still alive to this day, unharmed and unthreatened despite many wanting him dead.

The story starts off with Joaquin having his fated encounter. Found by an old book containing a nameless and faceless ghostly figure, Joaquin is promised the power to trample over all as an overlord.
