Chapter 66: End of confrontation

After an arduous battle, Erik finally managed to land a single blow and fell to the ground with a satisfied smile on his face.

Reynard gazed at Erik's body with an unperturbed, but respectful expression. "I never imagined that a young man like you would bring me to this point. You were a formidable opponent. Now, rest in peace with these souls," he said in a neutral voice, raising his foot to end it all.

Emma, witnessing this, her face darkened, and crimson tears welled up in her beautiful eyes. "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" she exclaimed, running at full speed to stop Reynard from executing the final blow.

However, something amazing happened, stopping her in a second...

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHH," Reynard let out a piercing scream, holding the part of his face hit by Erik.
