Chapter 44: Short Meeting

"What again?"

Ganglati turned his gaze to the woman afar off. He had dragged this out too much than necessary and it was because of these people, the girl most especially.

He looked at the pitiful face of the lady whose head he had his hands tightly clutched in his grip.

Not that he was feeling any pity for her, but he didn't want this time to get dragged out more than necessary. He looked at the woman running towards him and the girl in his grip.

"Should I just kill her and make them suffer?"

Wham!

Ganglati's eyes shot open as the lady appeared in front of him with bloodshot eyes. She had closed the distance before he could react.

She delved her palm into his belly aiming to pulverize it but he caught her hand midway. She swiped up her other hand, targeting his jaw. If he wanted to stop her he would have to take his hand off the girl's head or leave her hand, the latter was going to give her more space for attacks.

Eventually, he was going to have to drop the girl.
