Chapter 18: You owe me

Adele slowly unclenched her fists as Elliot's lips caressed hers. It wasn't her first kiss or her second, but the feel of his lips made her palms sweaty and caused butterflies to erupt in her stomach.

The feeling was unfamiliar to her, it was making her heart race, and she was getting dizzy. She wanted to stop but didn't at the same time. It felt too good; the kiss was just too good.

'Why am I acting like a stupid teenage girl being kissed by her crush for the first time?' Adele reprimanded herself in her thoughts, but she couldn't stop her body from reacting the way it was.

Elliot kept his index finger under her chin as he kissed her, remembering that she permitted him to kiss her and not touch her. It might've been the drugs, but he desperately wanted more.

Adele, on the other hand, awkwardly kept her arms by her side. She was fully conscious of how close their bodies were and what the smallest sensual touch could lead to.
