Based on what Luck had told him about the purple lotus, primarily, it purified a beast's bloodline, greatly increasing its chances for evolution in the process.

The explanation sounded candid enough, but when it was the only piece of information they possessed, was vague and confusing at best.

Hade, naturally, still had many questions. For example, was the purification inherent and imperceptible, or was it a visual process?

Also, how would they know if it had worked or not?

In the event of the former, would Luck suddenly evolve into a being of unparalleled might and grace in the blink of an eye? Adversely, would he explode into a mesh of ice and green blood if it failed?

At the gory thought of having to secretly dispose of chunks of magic beast meat, plus, having to deep clean his room afterward, Hade found himself starting to rethink this whole thing.
