Chapter 54: Passing the time (II)

As he had promised, Hade proceeded to spend the rest of the day with his cousin Iolana.

Although Iolana had questions she wanted to ask concerning the Salancans incident, Hade kept his summary of the event short, brief, and to the point.

Perhaps it was in consideration of his feelings but Iolana did not bring up the topic again.

She merely offered him her condolences and suggested that they make the most out of this rare free time they had been blessed with.

At first, it started out just the two of them, but at some point, Hade did not exactly remember when, Naomi and Aliandra also joined in.

Whether this was a coincidence or a move that had been plotted beforehand, Hade did not know, but in either case, he was grateful.

Because as it turned out, time could really fly by if you were with beautiful company.
