Chapter 26: Arm Wrestling
When Rudy and Ghyslaine finally reached Roa, they didn't wait for a day and went to the mansion. After Rudy was waiting in the lobby, Ghyslaine leave him so she can rest in her room.
After an hour later, a middle age man with noble attire and short staff came in. Rudy, seeing his articulate posture, recognized immediately that he is Sauros Boreas Greyrat, his Grandfather's brother.
"I am glad to meet you, Master Sauros. My name is Rudeus Greyrat and I'm the one who will be the home tutor of your granddaughter." His palm are now in his left chest and slightly bow. Rudy was familiar on how to greet like a noble.
"Very good. You display an etiquette that your father failed to do so." Then he immediately walks away.
'Weew... At least I barely pass his expectations.' Rudy was now glad that he was now inside in the Boreas manor and prepared himself to meet his third wife, Eris Boreas Greyrat.
After his grandfather walked out in the room, a man with almost same features of Paul, wearing a noble attire came in and greet him.
"So you are Paul's son. I am Philip Boreas Greyrat, nice to meet you." Though he was smiling to Rudy, he's beginning to criticize him if he is capable to teach his daughter.
The two greet each other and Rudy's employer tell him his job description, how much is his salary and full support of Sylphy's education when his job was successful.
Philip then asked a few question to Rudy and decided to give him a shot. Rudy also knows that his daughter Eris, are extremely violent, to the point that even delinquents are going to be embarrassed when they saw how domineering Eris can be.
"Are you ready to meet my daughter?" Philip asked.
"Though I'm hesitant if I can handle her wild behavior, I still want to meet Eris. I'm just curious on how violent she can be." Rudy then prepared himself if something goes wrong.
While the two was still talking, a slight older girl with auburn hair suddenly barged in the room while forcefully open the door. She looked at the kid beside his father, raised her left eyebrow, crossed her arms while she raised her chin.
"Do you think that you're capable to teach me? What do you know when you are younger than me?" This red haired kid really look down on Rudy.
A tick mark suddenly appears in Rudy's forehead.
"Probably more than what you know." Rudy didn't back down and crossed his arms while looking at her without blinking with a smug face.
Eris couldn't contain her anger and without giving a warning, she released her powerful kick. But that kick didn't hit anyone, and Rudy dodge her with minimal effort.
"So that's what your capable of? To sneak an attack in front of your enemy? If you're not dumb, then I don't know what you are." He didn't wipe out his smug face while taunting him.
Philip was stunned looking at two kids. He couldn't understand what he was seeing right now since this is the first time someone dodge her daughter's kick.
Rudy and Eris continue to strike and dodge until she finally dropped, already exhausted all of her energy.
"Hmmmph! You think you've won already? You couldn't even show how strong you are..." Eris, didn't accept her defeat because the only thing that he could do is to dodge, due to his small figure as seven years old, his punches and kicks are probably weak too.
"I see, so If I demonstrate how strong am I, you're going to listen to me?" Rudy was sneering at her, trying to bait her in his trap.
Eris didn't answer and only glared at him. Rudy used his Holy Chain and replenish her exhausted body. She smiled and her whole body was brimming with energy.
Before she could attack again, Rudy stopped her immediately to warn her.
"Let's be civil, Eris. If you want me to display my strength, then we can do that while avoiding violence." Rudy also want to display his strength, but he also don't want to harm his future wife.
Eris looking at him, confused.
"Are you familiar with Arm Wrestling?" Eris, of course know this kind of play and she immediately agreed. She's now thinking that after his defeat, Eris would mock him until he leaves the mansion.
The two started to do Arm Wrestling. Eris immediately unleashed her full strength, but she's confused about him arm didn't move an inch. Rudy look at Eris in the eye with a smug face, and immediately use enough force to make Eris lose.
Rudy was satisfied to win in this Arm Wrestling and start his plan, so that Eris couldn't remove herself in his laid out trap.
Eris on the other hand, was seething in anger. Her face was in full red and plans to strike him non-stop, but she suddenly hear something that she couldn't ignore.
"Want me to tell you why did you lose in Arm Wrestling, even though I didn't exert more effort than you?" Rudy became serious and stop teasing her.
"Why?" Though she couldn't accept it, Eris also wants to know the trick so she can use it against him.
"Because I can do this." Rudy then used Utsusemi. The afterimage and the original are standing side by side, until the afterimage slowly disintegrate, like it didn't exist at all.
"Wooow! How could you do that?" Eris was now hook at his trick.
"With enough speed, you can leave an afterimage that looks like you. As a matter of fact, my Shunpo are the reason why I'm strongest in Arm Wrestling." Rudy smiled at her, she was now mesmerized at his tricks.
"To make things simple, when you do Arm Wrestling, you're not suppose to use your arm strength, but your entire body." Rudy then continued to explain briefly.
Like how Martial Artist Kaito teach Touta on using Shunpo in UQ Holder, Rudy explains to Eris about grasping the earth and use that force to do Shunpo, or you can also use that external force in winning Arm Wrestling.
While Rudy was explaining things, Eris was somehow docile and listen carefully. To think that this child was very simple and was easy to change her heart, Eris decided to trust this guy because she can see how patient he is when explaining how his trick works.
"Father! Can Rudy and I go to the courtyard, I want to start learning from him now." Eris didn't waste anytime and the two proceed in the courtyard.
"I can't underestimate Paul's son, he literally make my daughter be tamed with only a little interaction." Philip then head to his father to tell this news about Eris being successfully tamed without any effort.
His father, Sauros was overwhelmed by this news and headed also in the courtyard. The two adults, no four, including Thomas the butler and Ghyslaine, was watching Eris running around in the courtyard non-stop while Rudy was only sitting in the center, yelling and encouraging her to do it until she collapse.
Rudy didn't make it obvious and was planning on how to deal this butler. In the original novel, this butler was a spy of a certain noble and tried to kidnap Eris so this noble can do indecent acts on this violent child.
'Before you can act, I'm going to start acting, so I can save not only Eris, but also Tristina Purplehorse, a noble girl who meet a tragedy and become a thief later one.' He was thinking carefully on how to bring this noble down and make him disappear in this story.

Now Eris and Rudy are finally meet, they can now proceed to Eris's training arc. Though that's probably short.
