Grandmaster Chen was a famous mage who once saved the world from an SSS-Class Portal from opening.

He sacrificed his own life in order to destroy the portal core, well at least that's what they believed for the past 1000 years.

In truth, he was trapped in the portal by his only disciple, Tan Ping, who desired to be the most powerful man himself.

As long as Grandmaster Chen is still alive, he is always the second.
