That was about it for the first volume of 'The Reincarnated Demon Lord who strives to be useless in the modern world.
I hit around 54K in the word count. If I posted as everyone else did, this volume would end on chapter 52 or 53. But I did write longer chapters.
Now for the announcements.
(1) I've changed the uploading timing from 9:00 a.m. GMT+8 to 6:30 a.m. GMT+8 because that's when the graphs say that you guys read. I don't know about daytime saving or the different American timezones, but that should be around 4 in the afternoon/evening. Applicable from Volume 2.
(2) I am 17. And I have college entrance exams. 2 of them actually. The first one started a week ago and will continue until the 18th. And for that reason, I'm gonna take a week off from writing. Instead, I've decided to upload 6 extra CANON chapters this week. Short ones... around 300 words.

This would mean that I left no gap in uploads and my daily writing counter wouldn't go down. I've been a good boy and managed to keep both of them up since I started.
Now, you might think that it was irresponsible to not have a stockpile. The thing is that I do... but I'm not so sure about its quality yet. In fact, the last 3 chapters that I uploaded were only edited once so a lot of refinements that I usually make weren't there.
The next volume has a tonne of world-building. Something that I would ideally perfect.
But I'll get through that once the tests end.
So the break would be from 4th to 10th December but you'll still get extra chapters.
{edit: the extras are great. i finished writing them and yeah, to toot my own horn pretty good. i build up on my favourite character's past so that you can understand her better. its a break from the comedy and light-heartedness and a showcase for a somewhat serious side of this story.}
I don't think it's too unreasonable given that this is a pretty important part of my life and that I don't even have a paying reader base yet. But you know... If you are troubled by a week of canon chapter absence, I feel a little happy, since you guys like what I wrote enough to miss it.
Anyways you'll have to wait.
