Among recent Trial this is one of best. This is gem. Mc have OP cheat. Story is quite interesting. Translation should improve more. this Novel must pick. I suggest both old and new reader must try it. Mc character quite good.
It is a really good book. Very well written. Tme mc reincarnated but does not seem to have a cheat ability. The mc is not arrogant and looking to fight people at every turn. The mc is actually a rational human being.

This novel is actually insane—trust me on this one. It starts off strong and just keeps leveling up. The beast taming system is so well thought out, and the world-hopping? Chef’s kiss. The golden finger of our protag is not too OP. Every arc brings something new, and the MC is that perfect mix of clever, ruthless, and OP without feeling boring. It's the first time I have read a novel where the MC does not belong to a run-of-the-mill sect; the sect is a major sect, not the best but top-notch . The tension, the evolution scenes, the way the beasts actually have personality—it’s all just way too addicting. If you’re even remotely into cultivation, systems, or beast-taming stuff, you need to read this.
I don't know which asshole named this novel with such a second rated name, why does he name like mc's in novels naming his pet little black and little white. I really didn't want to read the novel because of the off putting name of this novel, I only came here after I tried all other novel and nothing to read. It's a slow paced cultivation novel with a an intelligent MC. He got a cheat but it's not some primordial treasure but a knock version of a powerful artefact. I am not saying the cheat is weak but author nerfed it. After all the sword, saber, pill, body cultivators finally there is a change, mc follow beast cultivation. The story only started (he is going to his sect, as I said it's a slow paced novel) but I am impressed with the details author made to create the characters, MC's cheat, his first fight.

All in all, it's a great story. It has a good story, and I haven't found any big flaws. It has great characters with realistic personalities, many times better than you would expect from a novel here on Webnovel... The translation is spot on and I have not found any obvious grammatical errors, nor have I seen any awkward wordings (although I'm not a native English speaker). I am certainly recommending this novel. Review as of Chapter 18.
The books not bad but the essence of it is missing took more than 11 chapter to chase an evil cultivator for which was a waste then there's the toad of all the fierce beasts out the his first is a toad I mean how are we suppose to take him serious. Well they haven't even entered the sect and he's already disadvantaged the toad grows so so so so slow Gamabunta would have been awesome
I will give it a five as a novel and the author’s sake, but if I was to rate it as a trial read it would be much lower. Novel seems like it’s in for the long haul, thousands of chapters even. It’s well written, but I can’t see Qidian not dropping this 500 chapters in to work on a new project. Simply, I don’t trust Qidian, nor myself to want to support this novel in a year.
I remember adding this to my library back when there was only 3 chapters, hoping, and not my wish has come true, I really hope this gets picked.😢

Slow to start, but seems to be picking up at chap 40. like the characters, and world building. I hope this keeps going as I'm interested in reading the whole thing.

On the surface this might seem like your average cultivation or pet novel , and actually ....... it probably is. But hell is this entertaining! The story is extremely good so far and it avoids most common and irritating clichés. The Mc also got a pretty interesting cheat and pet beast SPOILER- He got an actual toad and I swear to god if the mc doesn't feed it phoenix meat in the future I will be highly disappointed. either way..it's really good so help it get selected.

I am a little disappointed. Normally this would be quite the good novel, but compared to the others in selection, this one is not as good. The story progress is very slow sometimes and at other times weirdly fast. There is no immersion and you can skip chapters without losing anything. I get that the MC is important, but it does not make sense to insert the MC in power fights where he should not be able to do anything, only for him to get temporary boosts to show of. I felt cheated during the graveyard fight. MC is apparently the only thinking individual, while does much stronger are at best a little retarded, even the MC father. Not a good start for a novel which could have potential.

Don't be fooled by the title, this novel is much better than it suggest. It's basicaly normal cultivation nover where the MC joins the Beastmaster sect, so he will go the route of training beasts but he can also fight for himself. Although it is not a fast paced story, the development is quite good and the world building is well explained. The strong point of this novel is that the characters are not brainless, the MC is cautios and acts acordig to logic. I think it's a cultivation novel with high potencial so I hope it gets picked up.
