The Kingdom of Varkas is a strong kingdom. An independent one, with no strings attached to any other land. But, its size is its own weakness. Within her rolling hills and gargantuan mountains, live those not meant to be. "Shades." Supernatural terrors of the land, hellbent on consuming the souls and lifeforce of every living creature. They come in various shapes and sizes: Demons, Werewolves, Vampires, Ogres, Trolls. They're all the same to those who live in fear. It is the College of Lanterns' job to keep the land safe, even if it must be from the shadows.
