Soul mates

When I was a little girl, I remember my mom always telling me the story of how she met my dad.
It was a beautiful story, but I thought she made it all up. But now I think I may be wrong.
Why else do I always dream of the same silhouette? Why can't I see past the fog that surrounds his face? Is this only a coincidence?
