Billions of years ago the gods died fighting the 7 demon kings.

Millions of years ago the demon kings died fighting the distant children of the gods.

With no need for magic, it became myths and legends until recent years where any attempt to bring it back will be quickly snuffed, calling them "Witches" and making the practice "Blasphemy".

With generations without magic all 7 billion humans no longer have any affinity for it so even if they found manuals to use it, it would be impossible.

But suddenly distant heirs of the gods awaken the power to use magic with high affinity for their respective ancestors.

Surely there would be some kind of appending threat that they have to fight right?

No, they can just do whatever they want.

What will our weirdly patient mc do with full control over time?
