Synopsis
Centuries ago, the Empire was the beacon of civilization, a colossus of power and prosperity. But 560 years after its founding, its decline is inevitable. Corruption has taken hold of its foundations, incompetent officials have led to chaos, and noble families fight among themselves for scraps of power. The emperor is a mere figurehead, and barbarian invasions and internal rebellions threaten to destroy what remains. In this world on the brink of collapse, heroes and villains emerge: some fight to save the Empire, others seek independence, and a few dream of replacing it. Who will prevail in this struggle for power? And what price will the world pay for their ambition?
