The dungeon cell felt smaller after Marcus made the claim that Renold was being controlled. I could sense the distinct hostility exuding Oliver as Marcus went on.

"Gwendolyn," he called out, I raised my guard and kept my eyes pointed at the dungeon floor, making it seem like nothing this bastard was saying meant anything to me.

"You blame Night Howlers am I correct for your pack's collapse? But have you actually sat down and reason for yourself just what happened then?" He asked, saying all sorts of bullshit.

I hissed and didn't say anything, I did not want to give him the satisfaction he wanted from messing with me.

"Stubborn girl, just like your father was. That was why when he refused to back down on a business deal, Silverfang waged war on your pack." He revealed, causing my heart to skip a beat.

I would've placed a hand on my chest, but they were chained to the wall above my head.
