The philosophic child

You'd think Ivan had a hard enough time because he was born with only one arm, but his mother wasn't in the hospital when he was born. Instead, she found herself in the middle of a cult, thankfully she had enough sense to let a dragon take her newborn, and the dragon took him to a hospital.

Eventually, they found him a foster home, who cared for him well. The dragon that took him all those years ago never left his side. Whenever she could, she was by Ivan's side. However, in this world, she could make him a shifter. Ivan's foster mom understood that. However, she knew that one day, usually in a year's time, Ivan would return home after it happened. Ivan, however, seemed to have an interest in something that goes back to ancient Greece. Something that would more than likely affect those he met.
