Chapter 47: It's all down to us now

Silver spotted Amara unleashing punishing blows against the training dummy in the gym, her strikes fuelled by frustration. He knew she was torn up over Raven aligning with the Light side. Though worried for her mental state, Silver understood Amara needed to work through her emotions. It had been a few hours since he last spotted her with the weights, and he wanted to check up on his leader and friend to see what was going on. He walked into the room and cleared his throat. 

"Want a sparring partner?" he offered.

Amara swung around, chest heaving, eyes blazing. She gave a curt nod. The werewolf smiled at her and then moved towards the gear box.

Silver strapped on padded mitts and braced himself as Amara rained down merciless strikes, envisioning enemies from tournament battles past.

After an hour, Amara was drenched in sweat, some of the frenzied haze lifted from her eyes. Silver clasped her shoulder. "Feel better?"
