Chapter 31: Rules can be fun

"Well?" Raven pants while dropping the 50 kg weights to either side of her. Her arms feel like jelly right now, but she completed the 200 reps that Silver asked of her in exchange for answering the mystery he posed to her. She really wanted to know what happened to the winner because something about Silver's tone scared her. What was the point of winning a game if the winner's spoils mucked up the whole victory? All she truly cared about that any of them cared about was getting back home. That was the only thing that mattered, everything else was just an added benefit. 

"100 more, and I'll tell you everything you need to know," Silver said. 

He was working out his back with a horizontal bar row. This was one of his favourite exercises. Who doesn't love a great compound exercise that could save your life or that of your friend someday? That didn't tell how many people he's already pulled off the ledge; doubtless, he's in the same position before long.
