Chapter 39: Time to fess up

Once again Amara stared at a room full of people and thought of the million ways in which this could go wrong. She'd say the wrong thing, everyone would get angsty or downright furious and there would be a revolt. Not only would Artemis definitely close the corridor for sure but he'd for sure slaughter them all and wait for them to reawaken before with clear minds and another hundred years of torture. She looked at her sister's face. They were in the same boat. She knew what we went through, but she didn't have the same history. To her it was all a game with a single prize at the end – Raven. Now she was going to focus on whatever it took to get her back on the Light and back in her arms.
