On the outskirts of Tokyo is Aokigahara, a vast forest and one of the most beautiful wilderness areas in Japan ... and also the most famous place in the world to commit suicide. Legends say that the spirits of countless suicides still roam, haunting the depths of the ancient forest.

When bad weather prevents a group of friends from climbing the nearby Mount Fuji, they decide to spend the night camping in Aokigahara. However, they end up being surprised to find one of their friends hanged at dawn ... and realize that, after all, there may be some truth behind the legends.
