Chapter 538: 538. Blood Party

Mauve did not like the look that passed across Mill's face as though she had said more than she should have.

"Well, I am sure he was planning to let any vampire drink out of her during the party but since she's just one human that would have taken a toll on her. I am glad the Primus got her out of there before that, she wouldn't have survived."

"Wait a minute," Mauve asked, not caring that she was starting to feel cold because she was questioning the vampire rather than letting Mill help her with her bath.

"Are you saying that these blood parties, that's what happens?" Mauve asked with a bewildered expression.

"Well, it was a regular party but to you humans it would be called a blood party. There would be blood at this party. It's the equivalent of wine to humans."

Mauve winced, now she was considering sitting in her room. This wasn't the pretty picture she wanted to get a front-row seat of.
