Chapter 630: No way home.

Unknown world:

It was coming to two months since the group of scientists and mecha warriors voluntarily ventured into the space crack. Time had moved quickly and yet their venture was stalled.

This planet as they assumed was a horrible place. With only one sun, it was abnormally hot and dry. The degree of hotness was so bad to the extent that breathing in the air could burn one's throat, nostrils and lungs.

One mecha warrior had died this way due to carelessness after they arrived and everybody had quickly learned to keep their gas masks and helmets on at all times.

The heat was not the only problem here because there was a group of hostile humans too. They were deformed, with faces that were monstrous than they had ever seen. Their eyes were hollow and purple, noses short___, almost non existent and their nails, yellow and cracked. Their skin was ashy and hard, dry like meat which was meant for preservation.
