"Just so you know I am not hiding from him because I am afraid of him. I just don't want to get into an argument." Severus immediately defended his actions.

"Right." A very doubtful Lythia replied.

"So what kind of milk are you feeding her exactly?" He ignored the doubts in her voice and asked what quipped his interest instead.

She looked up at the hound and smiled mysteriously.

"I am surprised that you do not remember the taste or smell Seby. You grew up drinking this milk."

The only milk Severus had been fed as a pup was hound milk, from his mother. The taste was quite off putting to him. The hound bared his teeth on top in partial disgust and partial surprise.

"Hound milk!!! You are feeding her hound milk."
